Students of business and administration high school BBS1 Northeim from Germany have visited AD Plastik production site in Solin. Extremely interested in the automotive industry and production, they actively participated in the tour of the facility. Different cultures and experiences make us better each day.

AD Plastik Togliatti held a „Open Doors Day“ for high schools, thus senior year high school students of settlement Pribrezhnyy visited production site. Students were very interested in production and judging by their comments and reactions, we believe that there are future ADP employees among them.

A concert of Oliver Dragojević and the Russian Symphony Orchestra was held in Moscow, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Russian Federation, festively marking 25 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Croatia and Russia. On this occasion, a regular meeting of the Croatian-Russian Business Club was held on which newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in Russian Federation Tonći Staničić was officially introduced and significant topics regarding business of Croatian companies in the Russian market were discussed. AD Plastik Group, which has been conducting business in Russia for 20 years already, had sponsored this event.

The students from Executive MBA, Colorado State University have visited AD Plastik production site in Zagreb. They got acquainted with the company, took a walk around facilities and showed the most interest in the specifics of the automotive industry in European Union.

Among the many questions, students for example wanted to know why Europeans are so fond of small cars and whether we are using 3D printing in research and development department. Different cultures bring different interests, so during the presentation American students were most interested in growth and yield of AD Plastik share. It is important to share experiences.

Social responsibility is an increasingly important segment of business conduct and apart from the fact that European Union has prescribed Directive on the disclosure of non-financial information and diversity information, special questionnaries and customer audits on this topic have become more and more frequent.

This year AD Plastik has successfully passed its first specialized audit in the production site regarding sustainable business upon the request of Audi. Audit was held in Zagreb production site and it is for sure just one of many future audits. For Audi, as well as for most other customers, social responsibility is extremely important, therefore it considers the assessment of sustainable business when choosing a supplier. Assessment significantly affects suppliers reputation in the automotive industry.

It is particulary important to point out the excellent results of the fastest ADP employees, above all Zvonimir Režić, sales program manager, Dinko Čulig, production worker in painting line Zagreb and Ivan Gojević, production worker from Solin.

The conference „Challenges of Croatian economic diplomacy“ was held in the Museum of Mimara and organized by Jutarnji list and the Croatian Chamber of Economy. It has gathered leading businessmen, economic experts, academics and government officials to consider possible moves towards the most important export markets in the region and around the world, the experiences of foreign trade chambers and the new role and significance of the Croatian Chamber of Economy and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs regarding Economic Diplomacy.

At the conference „Challenges of Croatian economic diplomacy“ President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović pointed out that the agreed and initialled agreement of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Croatian Chamber of Economy represents the first step in the modernization of Croatian diplomacy, especially the one concentrated on the economy.

Participating in a panel discussion on the challenges of Croatian economic diplomacy, President of the Management Board of AD Plastik Marinko Došen spoke of the demanding entry on large markets such as Russia. He pointed out that without investment there is no growth, and economic diplomacy, says Došen, is a cog in the wheel. He considers that the most important task of economic diplomacy is to support the realization of capital investments in Croatia.
